Junip has got a rap as being Jose Gonzalez' side-project, but the truth is JG has been playing with bandmate Elias Araya since their early teens. If the man hadn't broken out as a solo act, I think people wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Junip as some afterthought or also-ran.
