Always happy to have some new Sanko in my inbox. Can't wait to hear the original tune and the b-side "Promises" but for now the disco-strut of the Rob Hardt remix is a groovy way to approach the weekend.

Gabriel Garzón-Montano - "Crawl (Karriem Riggins Remix)"

I've been jonesing on Garzón-Montano's Jardin  and Riggins' Headnod Suite records separately, so it's no surprise that a remix of the former by the latter would resonate. There's more snap to the bounce of Riggins' percussion on this remix, which pairs nicely with the inherent syncopation of Garzón-Montano's vocals.

Play. Bounce. Repeat.

Dele Sosimi - You No Fit Touch Am Retouched EP

I know it's more like wah wah pedals than babies crying that label Wah Wah 45 took inspiration for their name, but with the ecstatic music these folks put out, for me the moniker should be Yah Yah 45. Anytime I see they've got something cooking up, I know I'm in for a tasty audio treat and this set of remixes of Dele Sosimi is a piping-hot dish. The Titeknots remix of "Sanctuary" below is my personal standout.
