Bummer news this morning. Looooooooooooonng time RR faves, Wild Beasts have announced they're calling it a day. But on the way out they dropped this new cut. I feel like the crying bald guy in the video after hearing they'll be recording no longer.

"What's done is done."



Maybe this will be like when LCD Soundsystem called it quits.

Ducktails - "Headbanging In The Mirror"

Well, for a song with headbanging in the title, this is probably not what you're expecting. But if you're a fan of Ducktails, this is exactly what you'd expect / want / need. First single from the forthcoming St. Catherine (July on Domino) is a straight-up slice of goodness.

Wild Beasts - "Palace"

 This video is almost as peculiar as Hayden Thorpe's vocals. Don't sleep on Present Tense. Another lovely album from Wild Beasts.

White Lung - "Face Down"

I used to own the same model of Volvo, but in red. And it had a clock with hands and a hand-crank sunroof. Man do I miss that car. It was just about as cool as White Lung.
